Te Rōpū Niho Ora hosts Te Kāhui Hauora Māori
14th April 2025
Ngā manuhiri i tae mai ki a mātou i te wiki kua pahure!
Last week, Ora Toa had the privilege of hosting two important roopu in the hauora Māori space:
Te Kāhui Hauora Māori – a collective of five Māori-owned, Māori-led, and Māori-governed primary health organisations from across Te Ika a Māui. We came together to discuss the future of Māori primary health care and how we can collectively support system transformation for all – both tāngata whenua and tāngata tiriti.
Ngā mihi to the leaders who joined us from:
Ora Toa PHO
Hauraki PHO
Ngā Mataapuna Oranga PHO
National Hauora Coalition
(Aroha nui to Ngāti Porou Hauora, who couldn’t make it this time.)
Te Rōpū Niho Ora – our Ora Toa dental team proudly hosted this network of Māori dentists for a wānanga, showcasing some of the kaupapa and mahi we're leading in Māori oral health.
Mauri ora ki a tātou katoa e ngākau nui ana ki te oranga o te iwi!
