You will join a dedicated and hard-working team of four dentists and three Dental Assistants.

Terms: Permanent 8 hours per day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Location: Newtown, Wellington
The Dental Assistant is responsible for ….
· Preparing and providing a safe clinical environment for clinical dental care, and supporting the dentist; and providing chairside assistance to the dentist and patient throughout the entire appointment
· Advocating, assisting and supporting whanau to access and engage with the dental service
· Following strict infection standards for dental practices at all times, including:
- Hand washing
- Instrument sterilisation
- Sharps and biohazard management
- Chair and equipment management

After hearing about us and about the role, you’ll know whether you’re the right person, and whether now is the right time for you. Your high-level experience and professional expertise as a Dental Assistant are a given, and you will be excited to engage and learn alongside Ngāti Toa. Of course, you’ll be well practiced with/in
· Working knowledge of office technology (Office 365), and experience with Exact dental software (or similar).
· A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
· A passion for health and wellbeing of patients.
