The community Nutrition and Physical Activity
Programme has been designed to help provide
And promote healthy nutrition and regular
Physical activity as a key priority for Maori in
the Porirua region.
Our objective is to improve the health and well being
Of Maori in the Porirua region.

5 Plus a day (fruit & vegetables)
30 minutes per day of physical activity

Better nutrition and regular physical activity
Reducing the incidence of food – related health
Disorders by improved nutrition.
Lifelong participation in regular physical activity

Half an hour exercise everyday has shown to improve
Many health conditions, i.e. weight loss, high blood
Pressure, stress, diabetes, circulation problems etc. 
In fact many modern health problems can stem from poor
Eating habits and nor getting enough exercise.
If you would like to discuss or start an exercise programme,
With a group of friends or whanau, or maybe on your own,
Do not hesitate to give me a call.
